Throughout her career she either started up human resource departments or lead them through successful transformations. Three times she has started human resources departments from the ground up, helping her companies expand through organic growth and acquisitions. Her experience spans multiple industries including manufacturing, finance, production and hospitality.
She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Irvine where she graduated cum laude. Later she received her MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles. Additionally, she is accredited to deliver and facilitate the Insights Discovery program, and is a certified SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources). She actively participates and enjoys mentoring and developing people. In her spare time she is an Adjunct Instructor for the University of California San Diego Extension program, and currently serves as the Board President of the San Diego HR Forum.
The secret to her quick smile and laugh? She actually loves what she does, and she has a sense of humor about her life and herself.
